ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv Vocational Primary School
I obtained my special education teacher diploma in 1976, at the Bárczi Gusztáv College of Special Education Teachers, majoring in oligophrenic pedagogy and psychopedagogy. On that year, I started working as a teacher at the College's Practical School, which is still my workplace. My job has been teaching singing and music from the beginning, in all grade levels between 1st and 8th grade.
In the meantime, I also obtained a singing teacher's diploma in 1984 at Berzsenyi Dániel Teacher Training College, and in 2005 I also obtained an expert diploma in special education.
Our school currently operates as the ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv Gyakorló Primary School, in addition to providing care for children with learning disabilities, we also organize speech therapy classes. From the beginning, our task is to ensure the practice of college students, so I myself help with this work as a practice leader teacher.
Since 1992, my singing textbooks have been published by the National Textbook Publishing House. Three books have been published so far: for grades 1-2, 3 and 4 of elementary school. In addition, my workbooks for practicing musical reading and writing have also been published under the title Sheet Music Workbook for the 1st and 2nd grade of elementary school.
In addition to my schoolwork, I have been an active participant in the dance hall movement since 1980, as a double bassist I played the music of Balkan peoples in various ensembles, and I continue to play to this day.
